The 2016 OMEA Professional Development Conference will be held January 28-30, 2016 at the Duke Energy Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. 2,900 registered music educators attended our annual conference in 2015, with a total attendance of approximately 9,000 ranking it as one of the largest state conferences in the country!

This session will discuss the importance of your booster organizations and how to maximize their impact beyond fundraising, focusing on creating a positive and nurturing environment for your music program to grow.

The optional Instructional Hour Certificate Program (IHCP) requirements include six sessions, one concert and a written reflection. Registrants should update their IPDP to include OMEA IHCP participation and submit the plan along with documentation (see OMEA web- site) to their LPDC for approval PRIOR to attending the PDC.
